The KIRIACOULIS GROUP of companies appeared in the horizon of Yachting & Tourism activities in 1980, founded by Mr. Stavros KIRIACOULIS.
The backbone of the group consists of “KIRIACOULIS MEDITERRANEAN CRUISES SHIPPING S.A.” and “KIRIACOULIS MEDITERRANEAN CRUISES SHIPPING SOLE SHAREHOLDER CO. LTD”.

The Group has introduced a number of innovations in Yachting and Cruising Industry, by creating new markets and through the introduction of new services like flotillas, bareboat chartering, crew chartering etc.

Furthermore, it is the only Greek Group, which has expanded its operations abroad, in Turkey, Croatia, Italy, France and Malta, with a fleet of approx. 400 yachts of all kinds; sailing yachts and catamarans, owned or exclusively managed.

Of the 26 subject bases, 8 operate in Greece (Athens – Kos – Rhodes – Corfu – Lefkas – Skiathos – Paros – Mykonos), 2 in Turkey (Bodrum – Göcek), 1 of them operate in the Caribbean (St. Martin), 7 in Croatia (Pula – Trogir (Aci Marina) – Trogir (Baotic Marina) – Biograd – Zadar – Split – Krvavica), 5 in Italy (Punta Ala – Sant’Agata di Militello – Sardinia – Marsala – Agropoli), 2 in France (Bormes les Mimosas – Propriano) and 1 in Malta (Kalkara marina).

This broad geographic coverage has been rewarded by a great number of loyal clients, who repeatedly take advantage of the privileges the Group renders them.

Today the KIRIACOULIS MEDITERRANEAN CRUISES SHIPPING S.A. group of companies is active in three sectors:

  • Professional sea tourism with pleasure yachts.
  • Marinas management.
  • Real estate and constructions.

The Group is active in the Professional Sea Tourism sector through the Parent Company, 8 subsidiaries and 1 associate company.

In the Marinas Management sector the Group is active through 5 subsidiaries, associates and other companies, in which it has a participating interest, holding a leading position in Greece, as it controls 16% of total berths, while the rest is controlled by the Greek State and other companies.

The main benefits that the Group derives from its activities in the Marinas management sector are that it is able to ensure berths for its fleet, control its moorings and maintenance costs, ensure safe docking conditions and in general the Group strengthens its competitiveness in the sea tourism sector.

In the real estate and constructions business, the Group was active in 2012 through one subsidiary company. The projects in progress of the latter concern the construction of two apartment buildings in Marousi, a complex of maisonettes in Vari Attica and the construction of an apartment building on a self-owned property in Kaminia Piraeus.

The Group has spared no expense and effort in keeping a high standard fleet, financing the never-ending training of the crews and the company’s staff and pursuing the improvement of the offered services to achieve today’s results. Through all these efforts the Group enjoys a rock-solid credibility from all parties concerned. KIRIACOULIS MEDITERRANEAN CRUISES SHIPPING COMPANY SA is the first corporation in its field worldwide, which in 1997 was certified with ISO 9002 under the international standard for the quality of services as well as with ISO 9001: 2000 in April 2002, with ISO 9001: 2008, with ISO 14001: 2004 and today with ISO 9001: 2015.

The Company’s shares were listed on the Parallel Market of the Athens Stock Exchange on 10 April 1998 under the symbol “KYRI”. Pursuant to the new Athens Exchange Rulebook, which has been in force since 10 October 2011, the shares are traded on the Stock Market in the category “Main Market” under the same symbol “KYRI” and ISIN (International Securities Identification Number) GRS295003008. The Company’s share participated in the composition of FTSE/Athex Small Cap Index from the session of 02/06/2008 until the session of 30/11/2009 and from the session of 30/04/2010 until the session of 25/05/2012, as its calculation ceased from the session dated 28/05/2012. At present it participates in the composition of FTSE/Athex Travel – Leisure Index, FTSE/Athex Market Index and Athex All Share Index.
