Kiriacoulis Group has recorded a significant increase in its financial figures concerning the period January – September 2004 compared to the same period last year.
More precisely, in the nine-month period the Group’s turnover increased by 15,28% whereas profit before taxes and after minority interest grew by 6,49% compared to the same period last year. Turnover amounted to € 19.506.649,67 from € 16.920.959,04 last year whereas profit before taxes and after minority interest totalled € 3.258.876,37 from € 3.060.197,68 in 2003.
As for the parent company “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises S.A.”, turnover for the period January – September 2004 increased by 1,43% whereas profit before taxes fell by 6,58%. In particular, turnover amounted to € 9.065.818,67 from € 8.938.141,04 whereas profit before taxes totalled € 2.609.835,74 from € 2.793.627,13 last year. The slight decline in profit before taxes of Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises S.A. is due to the overall crisis that Greek tourism faced this season and is considered by the management to be temporary after 6 continuous years of increasing profits.
Kiriacoulis Group had a dynamic presence at the 26th Athens International Boat Show held in the exhibit area of Athens former International Airport at Helliniko, attracting the interest of the visitors of biggest yacht exhibition. Kiriacoulis Group, ranking third in the yachting field worldwide, presented at this exhibition two sailing yachts, Dufour 385 and Bavaria 38 and one motor yacht, Bavaria 25 sport.
