The financial figures of both “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A.” and Kiriacoulis Group demonstrated impressive growth rates in the first half of 2002 as compared to those of 2001.
More precisely, the company’s profit before taxes recorded an increase of 10,39% amounting to 678.949,34 from € 615.065,75 in the first half of 2001, while the company’s turnover (net sales) grew by 45,08% reaching € 2.217.362,14 from € 1.528.422,54 in the first half of 2001. On a consolidated level, profit before taxes of Kiriacoulis Group in the first half of 2002 increased by 75,75% reaching € 823.565,89 from € 468.588,83 in the first half of 2001, while the turnover (net sales) rose by 76,32% amounting to € 9.224.022,61 from € 5.231.389,68 in the corresponding period last year. It is noteworthy that this significant growth in the company’s financial figures was achieved in the first half of this year, that is, during a period where the tourist trade is limited. On the basis of this trend, the management of “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A.” estimates that the company’s financial results will display high growth rates in the second half as well.
A large number of investors and representatives of brokerage firms attended the presentation of “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A.” made by the company’s officers last week. Topics of the presentation were the company’s activities, financial figures and prospects, while the founder of Kiriacoulis Group, Mr. Stavros Kiriacoulis, referred in particular to the company’s investment projects in progress.
